Once a year we hold an electronic recycling event where members are invited to bring their unwanted electronics to the event and have them disposed of in an environmentally safe manner, free of charge.
Our most recent event was held at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in September 2017 and members recycled 53.9 tons of old electronics. To get you thinking ahead to our 2018 event (details to be announced), these are the items that can be recycled:

||IT Related Equipment
||Televisions (including tube TVs)
||Microwaves & Toaster Ovens
Please note: Any electronics with Freon are not acceptable, which includes items such as air conditioners and refrigerators. Computers are recycled, and not reused. Any hard drives in computers are physically destroyed during recycling.
