Four HVFCU Members Win Scholarships
Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) is pleased to announce that four members have been awarded scholarships by the Credit Union Association of New York Scholarship Program based on their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. All of the scholarship recipients are graduating seniors from area high schools.
Arlington High School graduate Jacqueline Scanlon and Highland High School graduate Jahnvi Bansal were each awarded $500. John Jay High School graduates Aditi Athavale and Dimitri Petrakis were each awarded $250. The recipients will further their education at institutions in the northeast this fall—respectively, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Stony Brook University, Cornell University and Pennsylvania State University.
"We are very proud of their accomplishments and happy to help these young members with their college expenses,” said HVFCU President and CEO Mary Madden. “Their dedication to excellence is exemplary.”
