HVFCU Named one of The Principal 10 Best Companies

Poughkeepsie, New York – Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union’s outstanding commitment to their employees’ financial and physical wellness has earned them the distinction of being one of the best. An independent judging panel of employee benefit experts named HVFCU as one of the 2015 winners of “The Principal® 10 Best Companies for Employee Financial Security.”:https://www.principal.com/principal-10-best-companies-employee-financial-security Judges selected HVFCU because of their commitment to employee financial security through outstanding employee benefits. Currently employing over 800 people, HVFCU will be featured in the October issue of Inc. Magazine for this achievement.

The Principal® sponsors the national program, which is now in its 14th year. It honors growing companies (five-1,000 employees) for their commitment to their employees’ financial security.

As part of their best practices, HVFCU works with Alex Steele at Principal Financial Group to help make choices that supports their employees’ financial future. Along with the award recognition, The Principal awards a donation to a charity selected by each winning company. HVFCU chose Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress to receive the $2,500 donation in honor of their 50th Anniversary as a regional research and policy organization.
