Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) announced today that Area Retail Manager John Carola and Branch Manager Rosalia Saverino are recent graduates of the National Association of Federal Credit Union’s Management Development Institute (MDI).
“We are very proud that John and Rosalia have successfully completed this rigorous management program that focuses on sound and informed decision-making within both long-term and daily operational contexts, " said Derrik Wynkoop, Vice President of Retail Delivery for HVFCU. “We have found that the best way to maximize our member service is to offer our staff the opportunity to attend exemplary professional education that allows them to excel in their respective positions.”
MDI consists of an intensive executive education curriculum that addresses credit unions’ need for leaders who can thrive in today’s complex financial services environment. Run by the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU), MDI was established in 1991 and boasts over 900 graduates of the program.
MDI participants are taught by industry experts who cover a variety of critical topics including administration and human resources management; operations/technology management; regulatory compliance/accounting; finance and marketing.
