Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) is hosting two free seminars on How to Ensure a Successful Remodeling Experience. These seminars are designed for homeowners who are considering making major renovations or improvements. Attendees will learn more about selecting the right contractor, the home improvement process and financing options.
Brian Altman, President of DBS Remodel, is the featured guest speaker. He is an Environmental Protection Agency Certified Renovator, a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist, and will be a guest speaker at the National Remodeling Convention in Chicago in the fall 2011. DBS Remodel is a locally based company in business for 26 years, offering design consultation, additions, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, restorations, exterior renovations, and outdoor living spaces including traditional porches and custom decking. Their services include everything from the pre-planning and design state to the finishing touches.
Seminars will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on March 30th at The Ramada Inn, 542 Route 9, in Fishkill and on April 6th at The Rocking Horse Ranch, 600 State Route 44/55, Highland, NY. Attendance is free, but seating is limited. Attendees can register for either seminar at hvfcu.org.
