Poughkeepsie, New York – October 27, 2010
Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) announced today that it has opened its newest branch location in the town of Highland, New York. The branch office is located at 101 Tillson Avenue, just north of the intersection of Route 9W and the Mid-Hudson Bridge entrance. This is the credit union’s second branch office in Ulster County.
With approximately 5,000 square feet of space, the branch offers members six teller windows, two drive-up teller windows, six offices for financial services representatives, one drive-up ATM and one walk-up ATM. Like most other HVFCU offices, the branch is open from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm weekdays and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays.
Brennan D. Williams, a credit union employee since 2001, has accepted the position of Branch Manager for the new Highland branch. Mr. Williams, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, will oversee all day-to-day activities at the facility. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Williams reports to Sarah E. Gillespie, Area Retail Manager for HVFCU.
Turner Construction managed construction of the new branch office from designs by the architectural firm R.W. Larson Associates. Arris Contracting Company of Poughkeepsie was the site’s general contractor.
