Poughkeepsie, NY – September 16, 2008
Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) announced today that Charles A. Walwyn III has joined the credit union as Business Development Officer. In this newly-created position, Mr. Walwyn will develop and manage relationships with local employers in order to bring credit union products and services to their employees, and expand HVFCU’s banking relationships with businesses throughout Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties. Mr. Walwyn reports to Gary J. Armida, HVFCU’s Director of Retail Sales.
Mr. Walwyn comes to HVFCU from HSBC Bank in Baldwin Place, New York, where he had been a Business Relationship Manager since February of 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Walwyn spent five years at M&T Bank in Poughkeepsie and Fishkill, New York, most recently as a Business Banking Account Representative.
Mr. Walwyn holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY New Paltz.
He resides in Newburgh, New York, with his family.
