Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (HVFCU) announced today that Robert Babirad has joined the credit union as a Business Loan Officer. Mr. Babirad will address the financing needs of businesses throughout the Hudson Valley. He reports to Lisa Malone, Director of Business Services.
Mr. Babirad comes to HVFCU with more than ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was a Vice President / Relationship Manager at M & T Bank in Poughkeepsie, responsible for developing banking relationships with business clients. Prior to that, he was a Vice President / Client Manager at Bank of America in Albany, New York, and a Business Banking Specialist at Fleet Bank in Woodstock, New York.
Mr. Babirad holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Fredonia. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce; a Board Member of the Town of Rhinebeck’s Finance and Controls Committee and Assessment Review Committee; and the President of the Rhinebeck Soccer League.
