Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – April 12, 2010
HVFCU Financial Services will hold free seminars this spring offering guidance to help individuals build, recover, and protect their investments. The series starts with “Outlook 2010,” an overview of trends expected this year and how personal investors can potentially maximize returns during the coming months.
“Following a solid start, headwinds may emerge later this year to create a more challenging environment for investors,” said Jeffrey Thatcher, Director of HVFCU Financial Services. “A more tactical approach to investing will be important to maintaining the path to long-term financial independence. I hope people will join us for an informative seminar to understand how the markets will likely perform in 2010.”
The 90-minute Outlook 2010 seminar will be offered twice during March and April:
- April 1 in Fishkill at the Hilton Garden Inn at 5:30 p.m.
- April 22 in Newburgh at the Hampton Inn at 5:30 p.m.
There is no charge to attend, but seating is limited.
Alternative strategies will be discussed. Investing in alternative investments may not be suitable for all investors and involve special risks such as risk associated with leveraging the investment, potential adverse market forces, regulatory changes, and potential illiquidity. There is no assurance that the investment objective will be obtained.
